Della Cate has always been the odd one out amongst her friends. While they are often out partying at some frat house, she is usually knee-deep in some obscure hobby, one that her friends call “weird” or “silly.” So, it’s no surprise that they stood her up on her invitation to a slumber party. But her stepdaddy won’t stand to see her feeling down and low about herself. He comforts her and encourages her to do the things she loves, even if others think it’s foolish. He even offers to do it with her. And Della happily accepts. But an unexpected heat forms between them in the process, and soon, much more…mature thoughts start running through Della’s mind.
